[01 Sep 2009|09:48am] So it's September now & all the shopping centers & Dollar Trees will begin selling Halloween stuff. Yaaaaaaaaaay! This time also reminds us that if you're really into costuming, you should start putting it together now. For me, the perfect Halloween costume is defined as such: 1. Simple & fairly inexpensive to make. 2. Not having to explain who you are & also not running into 2 or 3 other people who have the same costume. 3. Comfortable enough for a long night of drinking, dancing, trick-o-treating or whatever it is you usually participate in. I don't believe in buying your costume from a store. That's boring. I also don't believe in using Halloween as an excuse to dress slutty. I can do that any time. Sexy costumes are boring too. I can appreciate a vague concept &/or inanimate object costume, but I personally prefer to go with characters. Which brings us to the lemonade of the story.
